Kelvin Etuhu is a football player who was born on May 30, 1988 in Kano, Nigeria. Having spent his early childhood in Nigeria, he along with his family moved to Peckham in South East London. He went to St. Thomas the Apostle School for boys. Kelvin Etuhu like his eldest brother, Dickson Etuhu, has chosen football as his professional career.
Kelvin Etuhu began his youth club career in Manchester City; he scored the winning goal for his team against Manchester United in the semi-final of Football Association (FA) Youth Cup in 2005-2006. On moving to the first team of Manchester City, he made his debut on September 25, 2007. He entered the field as a substitute in the Carling Cup match that was played against Norwich City and assisted his team mate, Georgios Samaras to score the match-winning goal.
He was sent on a loan to play for Rochdale club and has scored 2 goals in 4 matches for the team. Kelvin Etuhu scored a goal in his first appearance for the Rochdale club against Wycombe in the 80th minute of the game.
This talented striker scored his first premiership league goal against Bolton Wanderers on December 15, 2007. Kelvin Etuhu has been chosen to be sent on a loan to play for Leicester City from March 4, 2008 till the end of the 2007-2008 season.
